Lying north-east of Draguignan, Bargemon is a picturesque medieval village with close on 1,500 residents. Nestling in the midst of olive-trees, it has been nicknamed the "Pearl of Le Haut-Var". At an altitude of 500 metres, its appeal includes its closeness to the Verdon Gorges and the lakes of Sainte-Croix and Saint-Cassien .
