Tourtour stands at the top of the pretty hill of "Beau Soleil" in the département of Le Var in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is a real haven of peace and quiet, which has earned it the nickname of "Village in the sky". From Tourtour, one can admire a superb view of the Sainte-Victoire mountain. It's hardly surprising that Tourtour is a member of the "Plus Beaux Villages de France" association. It has three residential "hamlets" : Les Mandins, Le Domaine des Tireilles and Domaine de Saint-Pierre.
Choosing Tourtour means opting for charm and peacefulness in true Provençal style. The village's architectural heritage is well worth the detour. The Church of La Sainte-Trinité, for example, and the Abbey of Florièves. Throughout the year, events and visits give pride of place to local folklore. There are, however, many more houses here than apartments.
