Port-Grimaud is a must-see destination in Le Var, at the very heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It was in the 1960's that the visionary architect François Spoerry drew the contours of this lovely "lagoon-style town" in Provençal style. In all, Port-Grimaud is comprised of some 54.3 acres of land and over 32 acres of canals with 834 boat moorings. It can thus justly lay claim to its nickname as "the Venice of Provence".
