The area of Les Issambres is on the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, at the edge of a protected stretch of the Mediterranean coast. Its sandy beaches and secret creeks contribute to the charm of this Provençal corner of paradise. Until the Second World War, the area was left to run wild, then being only of interest to forest workers. Afterwards, many people saw the potential of this setting sheltered by the Massif des Maures. The town then turned towards modernity and built new infrastructures : an esplanade, restaurants, a supermarket, sailing facilities, and a well-known thalassotherapy centre.
The property market in Les Issambres mostly consists of houses. In fact, offerings of apartments are scarce and especially lower than expected by potential buyers. Studios and 1-bedroomed apartments used to be highly sought-after, though nowadays French and foreign buyers are looking for prestige residences offering large surface areas and high levels of comfort. It is therefore not surprising that the "Villa Solena" development with its high-quality appointments has met with great success.
