Grimaud is a seaside resort in the département of Le Var in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Stretching along the Mediterranean and up to the hills, it benefits from a well-preserved natural environment not far from the Massif des Maures. Sheltered from the hustle and bustle of Saint-Tropez, Grimaud is a pleasant, quiet and authentic place to stay. It is comprised of two sectors : the medieval village and the "lagoon city" initiated by architect François Spoerry in 1966. He designed a beautiful marina laid out around canals, gardens, little squares and shops, which, most importantly, is closed to traffic.
Grimaud's property market mainly addresses buyers of holiday homes. The apartment sector is rather confidential, with few properties advertised on the market. Demand mainly focuses on modern gated residences, often benefiting from swimming pools and parking facilities.
