In the département of Le Var in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Cotignac is a wonderful Provençal village built on a cliff. Here, nature reigns supreme and the scenery has retained all its authenticity. Cotignac is mainly known as a place of pilgrimage for Catholics, thanks to two apparitions recognized by the Church : those of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. The village is not far from important tourist sites including the gorges of Verdon, lake of Sainte-Croix, and the Sainte-Victoire mountain.
In just a few decades, Cotignac's population has doubled. In fact, both French and foreign clients (from Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Norway, and even Australia) are drawn to the commune in search of a property. They are looking for homes within easy walking distance of the amenities in the centre. There are, however, fewer apartments than houses.
