The history of Beausoleil, founded in 1904, is directly linked to that of Monaco. In the early 19th century, La Turbie provided accommodation for a large number of people working in Monaco, and Beausoleil helped to balance the market. Italian labourers soon moved in, while European aristocrats saw the address as a desirable place to stay. A climatic resort, Beausoleil benefits from a sunny Mediterranean climate.
