Mazan is a charming Provençal commune in the département of the Vaucluse, between magnificent fields of vines and cherry orchards. In fact, no less than 90 % of its entire territory is occupied by vineyards. It offers a privileged setting only 5 kilometres from Carpentras and 30 kilometres from Avignon. Its medieval village has preserved the traces of a rich past, including Merovingian tombs and chapels. Fans of sport (hiking, riding, mountain biking) will appreciate the magnificent undulating scenery.
Even though houses are of more interest than apartments, Mazan does have some examples for sale that are extremely appealing. In fact, compared to Avignon, for example, buyers here can take advantage of much lower prices.
