A seaside resort in the département of Le Var, between Toulon and Cassis, Sanary-sur-Mer symbilozes the Provençal art ofliving. An authentic fishing harbour, bountiful orchards, hills and olive-groves all contribute to the picture-postcard scenery of Sanary-sur-Mer. Easily reached from the TGV station in Toulon, the commune is lively year round. Its historic town centre offers pretty little squares, lovely fountains and large restaurant terraces.
