On the left bank of the Rhône in Le Vaucluse, Avignon is a unique destination, one of the ten most visited towns in France. During its famous Festival welcoming fans of theatre, the eyes of the entire country are riveted on its stages. The opportunity to discover or rediscover all its treasures : the Popes' Palace, Hôtel des Monnaies and Pont d'Avignon, to name but a few. This architectural heritage is easily accessible thanks to good transport connections : an international airport, railway station and motorways.
Apartments are to be found in 1930's buildings and 19th-C. mansions. Inside the city walls, those suitable for year-round living attract retirees and first-time buyers.
