Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a ravishing commune in the département of the Alpes-Maritimes in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. At the heart of its medieval village clinging to a rocky outcrop, numerous art-galleries and craftsmen's studios have made it a well-known cultural centre on the Côte d'Azur. A favourite among tourists, a large part of its economy relies on its appeal, bringing many visitors each year. The cultivation of violets, bee-keeping, the production of goat's cheese, confectionery and wine are traditional sources of income for the community.
