A commune with about 7,800 residents bordered by the Loup River, La Colle-sur-Loup is in the Alpes-Maritimes in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. An outpost of the "Communauté d'Agglomération de Sophia Antipolis", it benefits from a privileged location 18 km from Nice and Grasse, 25 km from Antibes and Cannes. A natural area occupying 988 acres of wooded and agricultural land, it is a very pleasant place in which to live. Each year in the month of May, its residents celebrate the rose, while in summer antique-dealers, jazz concerts and theatre productions are on the agenda. Several chapels (Canadel, Saint-Roch, Saint-Donat…) add their charm to this pretty Provençal village.
