The Bassin d’Arcachon, a tailormade market

In this region renowned for its privileged character and readily portraying its exclusiveness, the stock of available properties has been replenished. As highly-prized as ever, the Bassin d’Arcachon remains a sound investment.

A prestigious agency based in Arcachon, Bordeaux and on the Côte Basque, La Clef Immobilier specializes in transactions, the sale and acquisition of properties of outstanding quality. Founded in 2018 and run by Florence and Stéphane, this independent agency gives priority to human relations and offers a multitude of tailormade services.

“We are seeing a market which has become more complex than in previous years,” they say. “Serious clients are, of course, still there, though they take time to reflect and do not hesitate to make several visits before coming to a decision. We have noticed that reflection is much more important than two years ago, much deeper. The compilation of files is more complicated, even though 80% of the transactions we handle do not require mortgages.”

In such a context, the role played by agencies is even more essential, with clients in need of advice, and clarity, in a market which has become blurred. Very often recommended by its clients, La Clef Immobilier is also characterized by its dynamism. “Voluntarily proactive, we do not hesitate to go looking for qualified buyers for our clients who are sellers within our network,” explain Florence and Stéphane.

“Our property portfolio is currently comprised of about 80 properties including those handled as sole mandates : houses, buildings, shop premises. In order to gain in efficiency, we sometimes work on an “inter-cabinet” basis with partners we know we can trust. We believe it is better to share agency fees than not to sell. “Alone you go more quickly, together you go further…” Customer satisfaction remains our N°1 priority. As in “Haute Couture”, we work on a tailormade basis.

Depending on its location, appointments, volumes, outdoor areas, or views, a property will be evaluated at the right price, and it is therefore important that our clients trust us to ensure a fast, efficient sale. Today, we are approached for all kinds of house-hunts by a clientele mostly French : a single-storey house with several bedrooms, offering a sea view and a pool, is one of the most frequent requests. On the Bassin d’Arcachon, we will find such properties on a very variable scale, depending on their condition, location, the quality of their appointments, and whether they benefit from remarkable architecture or top-notch renovation.”
