Anglet, coastline elegance

Between Bayonne and Biarritz, Anglet cultivates its own distinctive personality at the crossroads between Basque and Gasco cultures. Extensive, airy and very green, the town unfurls its 4.5-km coastline facing the Atlantic, offering a rare setting in which to live.

Rich and varied, its real estate market reflects this attractiveness : contemporary villas, family homes and high-end apartments form a particularly sought-after ensemble. The neighbourhoods of Les Cinq Cantons and Chiberta remain the most highly coveted in a market now regaining a certain balance, in both Anglet and the entire Pays Basque. The growing stock of available properties makes for an offering more easily understood by buyers.

“2025 was characterized by fresh dynamism with numerous sales of houses, mostly for use as permanent homes,” says Agne`s Arribe. “Demand came just as much from the actively employed as from young retirees from all over France.” Now properly adjusted, prices joined by more abundant availabilities have enabled the market to recover a smoother pace after several years of post-pandemic frenzy. More apartments are also available, especially in the most highly prized areas of Biarritz : the centre, beaches, Chiberta and Saint-Charles. “We are gradually seeing convergence between the real value of properties and the prices posted.”

Mille´sime’s portfolio reflects this diversity very clearly : in Anglet, an elegant 2-bedroomed apartment of 74 m2 with a roof-top terrace of 41 m2, another terrace and a box-garage, in a privileged setting near Les Cinq Cantons and the ocean, is on offer at 860,000 €. Near the Jardin Public in Biarritz, a bright split-level apartment of 137 m2 with a patio and cellar is priced at 1,270,000 €. As for houses, the selection includes a superb Anglet villa, ideally located in the Chiberta neighbourhood, between the beaches and golf-course.
