Top end of the market
Comprised of 55 estate-agencies, Sotheby’s International France-Monaco has announced strong results for 2012 : volume of over 588 million euros (+ 12 % versus 2011), 430 sales at an average price of 1.39 M €, over 50 sales between 2.5 and 20 M €. Only fly in the ointment : a slowdown in the fourth quarter in the 0.5-2.5 M € bracket. A focus on prime locations and prestige properties seems to be confirmed.
